Introductory Photo Essay

I find it remarkable that three years later, I can still remember exactly how I felt the day this photo was taken.  This photo with Super Frog was taken during a "Monday at TCU" the semester before my freshmen year.  TCU certainly rolls out the red carpet for their incoming students, as was the case for for me too.  After that day, I committed to TCU and officially began my experience as a Horned Frog!

I am a proud member of the Rho Epsilon chapter of Chi Omega here at TCU!  Chi Omega has played an extremely important role in my college experience and I am so proud to be part of such a wonderful group.  In November,  I began my position as Assistant Make-A-Wish Chair.  I have loved being on the philanthropic team and it has been such a rewarding experience.  This photo was snapped at our annual Frats at Bat event this past April.

I am currently pursuing a Marketing degree in the Neeley School of Business.  I was recently selected for the BNSF Next Generation Leadership Program Class of 2015.  This was taken at the orientation brunch a few months ago.  I'm so excited for this program and the leadership skills that I will acquire beginning this Fall!

One of my very favorite places to travel is Colorado.  My family grew up skiing nearly every winter there.  It is also beautiful in the summer and serves as an escape from the humid Nebraska weather.  This photo was taken over Christmas break last year in Vail, CO.  As much as I love Texas, maybe I'll retire in Colorado someday.

I decided I could not post about TCU without mentioning my all-time favorite TCU tradition - the Christmas Tree Lighting.  Regardless of how hectic my week may be, I make this a priority each year.  It sounds corny but the event is so magical and reminds me of the uniqueness of TCU!
