Morgan and I collaborated on our Coming of Age movie. It was important to us that the movie be a reflection of the big ideas and concepts we covered in class and on our site visits. We really wanted to capture the essence of what "Coming of Age" meant to us. In addition, we really focused on utilizing both our pictures and video clips. Morgan was very helpful with the technical aspects of iMovie while I was responsible for organizing lots of the pictures. Overall, I am fairly happy with our final product however there is always room for improvement. Although I like all the pictures we used, I wish I would have taken more video clips on our site visits. I think the clips add some dimension to the film and make it much more enjoyable to watch. In addition, I wish I had a deeper understanding of iMovie. The program is very neat and if time allowed, we could have utilized more of the fun effects.
